Speaker Biography

Rebecca McCutcheon is a director, theatre maker, and lecturer in acting and directing. Her practice-led research works with site-specific performance, feminism and creating new performances which engage with marginalised stories.

In her work as a director she has held roles at the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre as well as her own company, Lost Text/Found Space. She is currently a research associate on a StoryFutures immersive fellowship with Nexus Studios, creating an Augmented Reality performance of Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
