Speaker Biography

Paul Tennent is an Assistant professor in the Mixed Reality Lab at Nottingham University. His work centres on applications of mixed reality for the cultural heritage and performance sectors, and bodily mixed reality design. He has developed and deployed a number of high profile public-facing experiences, including Thresholds (10,000+ users) with artist Mat Collishaw, which toured internationally and was shortlisted for the Sky Southbank Award for Visual Arts; VR Playground (30,000+ users) which toured internationally over four years, and most recently The Eye As Witness which was unveiled in January 2020 to significant critical acclaim.
