Kristallpalast: Overcoming barriers to adoption of VR in cultural heritage through effective spatial storytelling

Verena Henn is the appointed associate on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University of the West of Scotland and ISO Design. Her research focuses on immersive technologies in support of emerging business opportunities within the cultural and heritage sector. Verena is a former research assistant of the Extreme Environments programme at City University of Hong Kong.

As a former member of CityU's Laptop Orchestra, she performed at the International Conference on New Interfaces for Musical Expression (NIME) in 2013. Verena has several years of professional experience developing interactive installations for events, trade shows and permanent exhibitions. Kristallpalast is a practice-based research project that forms part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between the University of the West of Scotland and ISO Design. Exploring means of experiential storytelling, Kristallpalast was designed with a cultural audience in mind.
