Calibrating Trust Towards an Autonomous Image Classifier
Martin Ingram is a PhD student at the University of Glasgow/Qumodo with background in psychological science.
This project uses linear mixed-effects modelling to explore how trust is predicted by participants’ perceptions of machine performance. In doing so, it will examine how different types of information displays can influence trust towards an autonomous system, and which cues are best suited for calibrating trust in each performance level.
