Speaker Biography
James Bennett is Director of StoryFutures and Professor of Digital Culture at Royal Holloway, University of London. He has over a decade in HEI x creative industries collaboration and has has led teams across multiple disciplines, from computer science to drama, psychology to engineering and media arts on awards totalling over £70m. He has delivered projects for research councils, national and local government, creative industries, arm’s length bodies as well as commercial R&D contracts. Focused on cultures and structures of innovation, his research has been recognised for its impact by House of Lords, DCMS, BBC Trust, Channel 4, Ofcom and others.
