Speaker Biography

Richard England is a multi-award-winning creative technologist and three-time BAFTA nominee. He is the founder of Reflex Arc, a Leeds-based studio established in 2011. Reflex Arc creates interesting, inspirational and educational experiences using immersive technology, from virtual reality to augmented reality to motion sensor enabled installations and software. With over 25 years of experience working with depth sensors, volumetric techniques and spatial interaction, Richard has produced interactive content across various platforms and headsets for clients including The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, BBC, David Hockney, The National Science and Media Museum, Marvel, Channel 4, Google, Sky, Universal and Adidas. His work includes winning Best Location Based VR Experience in 2019.
