Nature-connected XR providing place-based and time-tagged media scores for everyday calmness and serenity.

Extending Nature by EcoGPX® is a calm, place-based XR experience that helps people pause, breathe and reconnect with the world just outside the door.

Built on the PLACES by EcoGPX® platform, it blends short guided prompts, 360° soundscapes and site-specific trails that can be used in a headset or on a phone—on campus, in clinics or out in the city.

After a 3–5 minute ‘nature reset’, your micro-journey appears on an interactive map and timeline you can revisit and share. Co-designed with clinicians, artists and people with lived experience, Extending Nature is being developed through Innovate UK’s Mindset-XR programme and early community pilots.

We’re looking for partners—venues, health teams, universities and city makers—to host pilots and co-create content for your spaces.
