Royal Commission for Riyadh City
Miguel is currently Advisor at the Royal Commision for Riyadh City, with a focus on The Riyadh Life and Riyadh Art programmes. Previously, Miguel was Executive Director at the ‘Noor Riyadh’ Festival, Programme Director at Jeddah Seasons and COO at the MiSK Art Institute, an artist-centred cultural organisation founded in 2017 in Saudi Arabia focusing on nurturing Saudi and Arab art and promoting international cultural diplomacy and exchange. Before MiSK, Miguel was the Founding Director of Cultural Diplomacy Projects at Qatar Museums, recruiting, training, and managing a department of 30 professionals from 19 different nationalities and being the youngest member on the Museum Directors Board.
Miguel is also a partner and former COO of the food-tech Spanish Startup MissTipsi.
Having lived and worked in Europe, Asia, America, and the Middle East, Miguel has an excellent track record in building and leading high-performance multi-cultural teams. He holds an MSc in International Relations from the University of London and an LLB from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and also trained in Leadership with the Centre for Creative Leadership, Colorado, US.
