Speaker Biography
Professor Gregor White is Chair of Applied Creativity in the School of Design & Informatics at Abertay University in Dundee. The is Principal Investigator and Co-Director of InGAME: Innovation for Games and Media Enterprise, part of the AHRC funded Creative Industries Clusters Programme and Director of the CoSTAR Realtime Lab, part of the CoSTAR Network, The UK R&D Network for Creative Technology. As Dean of School of Design & Informatics he has led the creation of one of the world’s leading centres for video games and creative technology education and established a number of industry facing R&D facilities including, the Emergent Technology Centre & 5g Testbed, ViPRE: Virtual Production Research Environment, Presence Lab, for virtual and augmented reality and CyberQuarter, for digital security and IoT.
