Speaker Biography

Ralph is a Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital with a PhD in Technology-Enhanced Learning from the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. He has led regional and global innovation in simulation-based education, founding the North-West Simulation Education Network and co-founding INSPIRE, where he served as International Chair.

Author of over 50 publications in paediatric trauma, CPR, and simulation, he has held leadership roles with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and the International Pediatric Simulation Society. Ralph leads both the Resuscitation and Paediatric Major Trauma Services at RMCH, and is an Honorary Clinical Chair at MAHSC, and co-founder of Out-There Health Tech, connecting innovators to NHS impact.
