Speaker Biography

Aurora is a policy researcher specialising in advanced technologies and society. She is the programme manager for digital innovation in arts at the British Council, where she has managed art and technology projects across India and China and co-edited the milestone report ‘Why technology needs artists: 40 international perspectives’. Prior to the British Council, she developed first of its kind research at the University of Technology Sydney on AI, edtech and educational disadvantage in Australia. She holds an MSc in Social Science of the Internet, from the University of Oxford where she researched generative AI, gender bias, cultural analytics, and design.
