Speaker Biography

Jason studied at Rose Bruford College where he gained a degree in Lighting Design.Jason’s lighting design work started in theatre, moving from fringe to West End to international productions.He joined White Light as a Design Assistant, before progressing through the company to become a Senior Project Manager.

Jason now plays a vital role in developing the company’s Managed Venues portfolio, such as Central Hall Westminster and Illuminate at the Science Museum, where he is responsible for designing integrated lighting, video and audio systems across a range of multi-use spaces.

Over the past few years, his expertise and focus on AV Solutions has further expanded into the Museums and Heritage world, where he has worked on ground-breaking projects such as the National Gallery’s new digital exhibitionLeonardo: Experience a Masterpiece,and the recent transformation of BAFTA’s London home 195 Piccadilly.Most recently Jason has been championing the new language of digital production and XR, supporting creative organisations and venues in as they journey into this new medium.

Jason is a lifetime member of the Association of Lighting Designers. Due to the diversity of his skills, experience and knowledge, he is often invited to be a keynote speaker at industry conferences and panel sessions across the globe.
