Aneta Mancewicz’s research focuses on digital media in performance, Shakespearean staging, and European theatre. From 2016 to 2019, she collaborated with the Belgian performance collective CREW on adaptations of Hamlet, integrating Virtual Reality into live performance, which led to showings of work in KVS Theatre in Brussels.
Aneta’s monographs include Intermedial Shakespeares on European Stages and Biedny Hamlet [Poor Hamlet]. In 2018 she published two co-edited collections of essays: Intermedial Performance and Politics in the Public Sphere and Local and Global Myths in Shakespearean Performance.
