Speaker Biography

Adrian is an academic and composer who works at the University of Portsmouth where he is the Head of the School of Creative Technologies within the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries. He currently oversees a range of work in the school ranging from undergraduate and postgraduate teaching to research and innovation projects with internal and external partners.

He is also the Director of Arcomis (Arts Commissioning) – a company founded in 2007 that works in partnership with individuals and business to commission new music. He is particularly interested in the interaction between technology and creativity, specifically with regard to contemporary musical composition.
