Speaker Biography

Winn is the Creative Industries Lead for the BridgeAI programme and is part of and sits on, two managed programs within the Digital Economy & Creative Industries team at Innovate UK Business Connect (IUKBC). He also runs the Secretariat for the BridgeAI Advisory Group, a convening forum of senior industry practitioners and relevant industry experts.

He has a background in science, risk and regulation and emerging technologies. Prior to joining IUKBC, Winn worked at a number of professional services firms and technology companies; helping them deliver innovative digital solutions for their clients, globally.

Innovate UK is the UK’s innovation agency, helping UK businesses to grow through the development and commercialisation of new products, processes and services, supported by an outstanding innovation ecosystem that is agile, inclusive and easy to navigate.

As part of this ecosystem, Innovate UK BridgeAI is an Innovate UK-funded programme whose mission is to drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in sectors of the UK economy with a high potential for the growth of AI.
