Speaker Biography

Nicalia is a strategist, creative, and the co-founder of Black XR Network UK (BXRN). Her practice in XR is motivated by exploring the opportunities, approaches, and impacts of disruption in the field. In research, she investigates the validity of VR for inducing and measuring performance anxiety in musicians within controlled lab settings, and her independent projects range from utilizing AR to create assistive tools for impairments to developing immersive experiences that blend nostalgia with the modern world.

She is also the founder of FOMMRE—an experience design studio developing in-house digital products and elevating customer experience (CX) for global and growing brands.
