Speaker Biography
Graeme Farrow is currently Chief Creative and Content Office at Wales Millennium Centre responsible for the organisations creative strategy, programme and work with artists, communities and young people. Graeme tries to make space for people to tell their stories and find their creative voice, inviting them to fire their imaginations in a creative home for everyone.
Since joining Wales Millennium Centre as Artistic Director in 2014, he has reshaped the arts centre as a producer as well as a presenter of work. Productions have included City of the Unexpected for Roald Dahl’s centenary with National Theatre Wales, Llais Festival, The Boy with Two Hearts and most recently Nye with the National Theatre starring Michael Sheen.
He has prioritised the development and adoption of new models of participation with young people and communities and WMC are currently repurposing spaces on their site to create new studios run by young people for young people on the current site.
Graeme is interested in exploring stories and making work using immersive technology and WMC are designing a new building which will support this and provide a new production hub for our work and for Wales.
