Speaker Biography

Goran Nenadic is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Manchester. His research interests are focused on natural language processing, artificial intelligence and semi-automated curation of knowledge from unstructured textual data. His research has been applied to a variety of domains, including healthcare, social media, finance, biotechnology, community-generated digital content, food production, etc. Goran is also interested in governance of artificial intelligence and its responsible design, development and deployment.
