Speaker Biography
Sile Sibanda is a Spoken Word Performer, BBC Radio Presenter, Creative Producer for Storytrails. She has been involved in creative and community projects for over 12 years starting with a glee club at the age of 12 and speaking at the House of Lords. Recently, she has been facilitating creative writing workshops for various organisations including Grimm and Co, Artful and Creative Lives. She hosted a conversation with former Sheffield Lord Mayor Magid Magid for the off the shelf Festival and Munroe Bergdorf for Shefest. Created a short film about belonging as part of the Migration Matters Festival. Sile became a StoryMapper for Storytrails, creating an emotional, immersive storytelling experience about untold stories of people living in Sheffield as part of Unboxed let by StoryFutures Academy.
