In 2020, amidst the global pandemic, Cattytay and Leanne Elliott Young joined forces and launched IoDF, the Institute of Digital Fashion; an emblem for change in a broken system.<\/p>\n

The two industry leads met whilst speaking on a Dazed panel for London Fashion Week discussing the future of digital fashion. Young and Cattytay voiced their mutual frustrations with the industry; the patriarchal structures in tech, the lack of diversity, the failures in innovation, the insipid activations in the fash-tech space, fashion weeks inaccessibility, the questionable sustainable practices and how there is a need to demystify digital craft an artisan.<\/p>\n

This conversation birthed IoDF, the dynamic duo pledged to build an institute that could solve fashions archaic structures. Pushing technology as a solution to not just sell more clothes, but to disrupt the way the system concepts, produces, creates, broadcasts, educates and demands. IoDF is changing the system, asking questions and forging new solutions.<\/p><\/p>
