Speaker Biography<\/h3>

Josie Durant is Project Manager at BEYOND Studio, where she developed and launched the BEYOND Emerging Innovators programme, showcasing at BEYOND Conference 2025. Alongside leading on this initiative, she manages partnerships across BEYOND Studio\u2019s network and oversees event planning and logistics for its wider client base. <\/p>\n

With over a decade of experience working in the Arts sector, Josie has held management and programming roles at Phoenix Art Space, Brighton CCA, Devonshire Collective and the University of Brighton cultivating strong expertise in the development and growth of public visual arts venues. Her work has consistently focused on creating opportunities for creatives, supporting inclusive cultural engagement, and contributing to the sustainability of arts organisations. <\/p>\n

Josie also brings an academic and artistic background to her work. She holds a Master\u2019s degree in Print from the Royal College of Art, where she was awarded the Leverhulme Trust Arts Scholarship. Her own practice spans expanded print, sound, video, and installation, grounding her professional work in a deep understanding of creative processes.<\/p>
