Speaker Biography

Alison is Chief Operating Officer at Radical Forge, an independent game developer based in Middlesbrough. A varied career reflects that Alison goes where her curiosity leads her and where she can have a positive impact, as well as the fact that a degree in Art History doesn’t qualify you for anything specific! In addition to roles in the games industry for Sony & Avalanche Studios Group, she has worked in the art business, took a detour into training and facilitation, and a long stint in automotive at Bentley Motors. She is the Co-Chair of Liverpool’s GameChangers, a Board Member on the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority’s Creative Cluster Board and a Trustee of FACT, Liverpool’s centre for Film, Art and Creative Technology.
