Speaker Biography<\/h4>

Andrew Chitty is the Challenge Director for the Creative Industries and Audience of the Future programmes at the heart of the Creative Industries Sector Deal. This \u00a3120m investment is supported by the Government\u2019s Industrial Strategy and delivered by UK Research and Innovation.<\/p>\n

The \u00a350m Audience of the Future Challenge, which completed in March 2022, delivered a step change in the ability of the UK creative sector to adopt immersive technologies through business led innovation, whilst the \u00a385m Creative Industries Clusters Programme continues to support nine University\/Business R&D partnerships across the UK.<\/p>\n

Prof. Chitty\u2019s career began in television before founding Illumina Digital, a multi award-winning digital production company. With Illumina he won 4 BAFTAs, two for technical innovation. Andrew is Professor of Creative Industries at Loughborough University, the AHRC’s Creative Economy Champion and a Trustee of TRC Media. He is a board member of Creative Skillset and a founding director of Creative England (now Creative UK). <\/p><\/p>
