Speaker Biography
Julia is the Design Innovation Lead for innovate uk’s Health Ageing Challenge and leads on the Mindset XR Programme. She began her career as a software engineer in investment banking, progressing to Vice President, Equities Technologies at Credit Suisse before moving to the New Business division to set up new trading services bank-wide. Julia’s career then transitioned to social purpose business start-up and was recognised as the University of East Anglia’s Graduate of Global Distinction (2018) for her award-winning efforts in humanitarian engineering and contribution to services for people with cognitive impairment. Julia is an associate tutor and associate consultant for the UEA (lecturing/consulting in data and information systems). Julia wrote the foreword for the Co-Creation Guide for the Alzheimer’s Society Longitude Prize (2022).
