Jon Hymus is the managing director of Innerva, the world’s leading provider of power assisted exercise equipment that works with health, fitness, retirement and care providers to provide an inclusive activity and rehabilitation solution for older adults and those with long term health conditions.
Jon joined Innerva in 2022 to steer the British designer and manufacturer through its next phase of growth, both in the UK and globally, to remain at the forefront of innovation in the active aging sector.
A seasoned professional with nearly three decades of experience in the UK health, fitness and leisure sector, Jon has held a number of senior roles during his career, including include those at global outsourcing company Serco, Social Enterprise GLL and Leisure Operators Leisure Connection.
Prior to joining Innerva, Jon was strategy and innovation director for Serco Leisure, one of the UK’s leading national operators of leisure facilities, where he successfully introduced Innerva’s power-assisted exercise solution into the group.
Away from Innerva, Jon is Chair of the Fenner Frost Foundation, a charity which provides training, work experience and social inclusion for adults with learning disabilities from it’s high street record shop and is also a Trustee for Swale Community Leisure, which operates four community sport, leisure and fitness facilities in Kent. In his spare time Jon spends time with his family, is a Luton Town Football Club fan and a massive sci-fi and British comics geek.
