Speaker Biography
Amanda is a senior content designer at Event, a renowned experience design agency specializing in the creation of large-scale exhibitions for world-class institutions, museums and organisations across the globe. Her combination of creative interpretive thinking and strong content research skills have made invaluable contributions to many international projects including EPIC: Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin, the Carl Nielsen Museum in Odense, and the Oman Across Ages Museum – which explores 800 million years of history across 9,000sqm of permanent gallery space just outside of Nizwa. Amanda was a driving force behind the interpretation of the Oman Across Ages Museum, shaping the narrative and collections framework during the masterplanning phase, and collaborating with the Client team, local subject experts, and specialist subcontractors to deliver captivating and compelling storytelling experiences. During the project, Amanda headed up Event’s branch office in Oman, giving her the opportunity to immerse herself in the history and heritage of the country.
