Using augmented reality to inspire people to think more deeply about food and the global chain

Ground: Unearthing Hidden Stories is a project by Sheffield-based creative studio Peter & Paul to develop a new Augmented Reality (AR) experience to inspire people to think more deeply about food and the global chain. The experience is a digital companion to Ground, a live immersive dining experience, created by partners Trigger and commissioned by National Trust and British Council Sub-Saharan Africa.

This XR Stories funded AR experience enables audiences to explore hidden stories of food. Artistic collaborations with indigenous people bring the stories to life in the space around you through illustration, animation and narration.
