Speaker Biography
I am a visual Designer focusing on biophilic design, virtual reality, L-systems, fractals, and healing spaces. I have a keen interest in the relationship between man and machine and how technology can enhance natural life.
I continually ingest information from various sources while pushing speculative design ideas forward. The connections and patterns between nature and the man-made world continue to intrigue my mind, triggering ideas and solutions for my practice.
My work combines three-dimensional design software, three hundred and sixty-degree cameras, virtual reality, head-mounted displays and fractal geometry. Furthermore, future ideas for my practice may include other tools such as three-dimensional printers, augmented reality, and Lidar scanners.
As these tools will help document and analysis the natural world further and may break down specific visual information that may become useful within my research.
