Speaker Biography

Christine is a disability and age-inclusive researcher, designer and innovator. In 2015 she founded Open Inclusion, a London-based, global insight and design agency which she continues to lead and grow. Open works across the full spectrum of experience from digital, physical products, the built environment, customer service and communications. Christine loves new ways to solve old problems. She leads the work at Open in emerging technologies, including XR, looking for valuable new approaches to reduce the limitations that exist today for many, particularly those with lived experiences of disability while also helping ensure new barriers do not emerge. She is an active leader within the XRAccess community (disability-inclusive immersive tech), in the working group for StartAccess (disability-inclusive entrepreneurship) and an advisor on a range of inclusion-led innovation accelerators in the UK, USA and Australia. She is co-leader of Unlimited, the Market Research Society’s disability-inclusive research group.
